This is such a pensive piece! I sense a moment of thought, reflection, or memory. Again the stars which for me are wishes, magic and mystery.

Circus Trio spins a theatrical fable: three elongated figures in vivid costume, their alien smiles and oversized hands hinting at stories beyond the canvas. The striped collar and painted fence suggest performance and boundary; moons floating in black space turn the scene dreamlike. Colors clash and harmonize, guiding the eye while leaving meaning open. This painting tempts the viewer to invent characters, rehearsing motives and secrets. Bring it into a room to start conversations, or linger alone and let it whisper its strange lullaby. Piece is acrylic on paper 18x24….
Make it a Double" captures a lone figure leaning forward, eyes searching through a crowd of abstract silhouettes. Muted tones and layered texture cocoon the subject in a private reverie, while subtle contrasts make the gaze luminous. The surrounding forms suggest companionship and distance at once—familiar yet unknowable. This painting asks how we appear to others when wrapped in our own thoughts, inviting viewers to linger in its quiet, surreal expressionism and consider their own doubled selves.
The Magic of the stars….a night that is ‘Starlit’!
This is 18x24 acrylic on paper.
The front character is a master- star thrower. He uses only his finger to connect the stars to the heavens. The female character is an apprentice. She uses a wand and is masked. If she practices hard enough she will become a master too.
I always feel that stars are magical and a connection to the heavens…..di
Wanting peace while we sleep as guardians watch over us. A pretty dreamlike piece. 18”x24” Acrylic on paper.

"Dare to Dream" catches a suspended moment where two figures reach through a tilted city of bubbles and tiny patterned beasts. Their expressive faces and many hands ask for connection, imagination, a shared longing. Soft, vivid colors turn yearning into possibility; surreal creatures tug at memory and wonder. This painting reminds us that dreaming is collective—an invitation to lean in, touch the fragile bubbles of hope, and let whimsy rearrange the skyline of our everyday.
I am not sure about this piece. My last three works seem to have gotten busier and busier. I am searching for a ‘new’ approach but am not sure if I have found it yet. Sometimes it takes a while to determine the ‘worthiness’ of a piece. But I always revert to the, “my job is to create-the world is to be the judge”. So this is my newest creation. I debated whether it should be ‘Searching for My Match’ or ‘Mate’….semantics!
(I sincerely apologize to my English professor PHD friend, who I know my punctuation (etc) must drive her up the wall-we we’re in 7th grade English when e e cummings justified my entire existence) di
Second in this series, “The Star Thief”. The story is yours to tell-I just create a snippet in an imaginary world. Enjoy…d
