If you are older/mature/wise you will recognize the pink tape above as an early product for the huge computers in the 60s. This particular tape allowed the computer to determine the distance from any two points on the globe. Since this piece is an ode to ‘space/science’, I decided to use the dot sequences for the patterning on the blue. Thought it was appropriate….I am going to attach a piece of the tape to the back of the painting because I think it is ‘cool’.Do not have a title for this piece yet but I have to admit I really like it…. I have been reading alien books lately….now you know!
